Save File to desktop.  Then Open, click yes.

 

Ventrilo:

Ventrilo is a voice server.  We can talk in real time and avoid long distance charges.

What you need:

  1. Microphone and Speakers or a headset w/ Micro
  2. Ventrilo Client Software. (Click to get)
  3. Set up User:  The first time you start Ventrilo, set up a user name.  Click the Arrow to the right of the "User Name" Box.  Click NEW, enter your name.
  4. Click here to automatically set up your ventrilo settings
    NOTE:  Ventrilo must have a user name created first, THEN be turned off BEFORE you click the link

     

 

 

What is the TCS Help Desk?              

My name is Jerry Thompson.  I have been building and troubleshooting computers for over 10 years.  Over the years I have met so many people who just needed a bit of help with their computers.

So many computer companies now employ over seas support departments. Frequently, they are difficult to understand and if your problem does not fit in one of their scripts you can be on the phone for hours for nothing.

Other companies, charge large fees because they know you are desperate.

Look to the button on the left.  If am online, you can ask a question.  If it is a quick answer, you get your information and are on your way.

If I am not on line, send me a message or schedule an appointment below.  There is NO risk to you.  

 

The TCS Help Desk consists of one person.  

Why on Earth would you come to me for help?

4 Steps to get help.

1.  Call 585-582-1358 to make an appointment.  By making this call, you are indication that you have read and agree to the conditions below.  Leave a message with the following information:

  1. Complete Name
  2. Phone number
  3. Email Address
  4. Brief description of the problem.
  5. A good time to return your call
  6. Your preferred support time.  See below.
    Mon - Fri:  4 PM-9 PM
    Saturday:  9 AM-9 PM
    Sunday:    1 PM-9 PM
  • Conditions
    By placing that phone call, I either agree to or understand the following.

    • Language:  English
    • Session Length:  Not more than 1 Hour.  Additional time will require additional payment of $10 / 30 minutes
    • Price:  You agree to pay $20.00 / First hour session.  I use PayPal.  You can use "Cash" or Credit Card. Payment must be made prior to the support call.
    • Currency:  US Dollars
    • Date:  The day you choose means the next time that day occurs.  Example:  When you choose Monday, then it is understood, that it will be the NEXT Monday.
    • Email:  You will get an email with your time, date and instructions.  You will follow the instructions to download OneClick and will "Invite" me at the appointed time.
    • Telephone:  Plan on calling me on the telephone during our session.  It is likely a LONG DISTANCE call for you.  
    • Missed Appointment:  Failure to call at the correct time, may forfeit your session for that time.  Multiple failures (3) means I will not bother responding to or scheduling a fourth.  Your $20.00 fee will be forfeit.
    • Cancelled Appointment:  If plans change, you may cancel your appointment by phone or email up to an hour before hand.  If you have paid, your $20 fee will be refunded.
    • Guarantee:  Should I not be able to help in any significant way, I will refund your $20.00.
    • Software for Sale:  I sell AVG Antivirus / FireWall / Internet Security and other software.  There will be additional charges should you choose to purchase it.
    • Connection Software:  It automatically uninstall's after the session has ended.

     

    2.  Return to this web page sometime before your appointment to pay your $20 fee.

    Suggession:  Pay your fee 15-30 minutes BEFORE your appointment.\

    NOTE:  If your fee is NOT paid prior to your appointment, the appointment will be cancelled.

     

    3.  Call TCS at 585-582-1358.  While this step is not critical to our success, it will speed up our session by more efficient communication.
